This Youth Hostel is run by volunteers who are here to make your stay enjoyable. Please let them know if you have any problems.

Reception

Staff will be available at Reception: 07.30 – 10.00 & 17.00 – 22.00

Shop

The Hostel shop will be open for sales: 08.00 – 10.00 & 17.00 – 22.00

Evening Hours

Please be back in the Hostel by 23.00. Have consideration for other people in the building by keeping noise to a minimum after 23.00

The Hostel has to be secured until 07.30hrs.

If you have to depart early, please make prior arrangements with the warden.

Length of Stay

If you would like to extend your stay, please check before 10.00 for availability.

Departure

Please check out by 10.00hrs unless you have made other arrangements.

Daytime Use

The Hostel is closed between 10.00 and 17.00

For Your Health and Safety

  • Please read the fire notices and observe the no smoking signs. Smoking is not permitted in this Youth Hostel.
  • You must leave the building if the alarm sounds.
  • Do not take food or drink to the bedrooms.
  • Please leave wet and muddy clothing and boots in the drying room, or the front porch.

Security of Your Belongings

  • You are responsible for your property while you are in the Hostel. Please notify any member of staff immediately if you see anything suspicious.
  • Keep valuable items with you.

Lending a Hand

  • All self caterers are asked to keep the cooking areas and utensils clean.
  • Please keep your own bed area tidy.
